inspiration for green pots

The small test piece on the left (front and back) is the catalyst for the two Green Pots.

Annealled copper mesh was fitted closely to copper sheet metal and enamelled. I was thrilled with the results - how the mesh fused to the sheet copper. It took a couple of layers of enamel.

I then tried this on a larger scale with spun copper beakers. This shows the first coat of white enamel. The final beakers had a final coat of celadon green.
